Sneaky Yet Brilliant Way to Get Free Starbucks

I am a total Starbucks addict and I have figured out some sneaky yet brilliant ways to get free Starbucks.

I remember when I was first introduced to coffee drinks when I was 18. I lived in a small town and Starbucks was not in it (this was also like 20 years ago) but they had little coffee shops here and there. My friend took me to a small drive-thru cafe and she ordered me something. It was incredible.

While I had been exposed to coffee growing up, here and there (my mom was Eritrean and they had boon and coffee ceremonies which were incredible) as my mom let me and my sis take a sip on occasion, it was literally a twice a year taste.

So after my friend introduced me to that first coffee drink, we began visiting more often, a few times a month, trying and tasting different drinks.

Then, we found out that a neighboring city, about a 20 minute drive away had a Starbucks and..

it was a 24 hours Starbucks (who knew of such a thing).

We ventured out there and I even turned some of my friends onto it.

Since then, I am a Starbucks addict, I admit it.

I have actually done a lot better this year but it’s tough when there’s one on every corner, including across the street from your neighborhood (that’s me).

Starbucks coffee warms you, it’s delicious, rich, bold flavor and they have millions of different drink recipes. You will never get bored.

I actually order tea more than I order coffee nowadays.

I love it!

The only thing with Starbucks is..the price.

Starbucks is pricey.

It’s not unusual for a medium (called a grande) size coffee to run $4 or $5. At a gas station or virtually anywhere else, you can grab a medium coffee for like a buck, if that.

They pay you for your opinion.

You get paid to take surveys, play games, watch videos, discover stuff online, etc. and for each task, you earn SB (Swagbucks’ currency). You build up your SB and then redeem for gift cards, including $50 to $100 Starbucks gift cards!

Next, get the Starbucks app.

It’s free to download on your cell phone.

They offer you a free Starbucks drink or food item on your birthday.

It’s a killer birthday freebie.

You do want to make sure you are signed up to the app at least 30 days before your birthday and the freebie offer is available on the day of your birthday only, so keep that in mind.

Last year I signed up too close to my birthday and didn’t make the cut.

This year, I got freebies from Jersey Mike’s and Chick-Fila and just didn’t get around to going to Starbucks and then next day after my birthday I couldn’t redeem the offer, boo.

So, keep those two things in mind.

Other cool uses of the Starbucks app:

Get notified of deals and offers like BOGO frappuccino days, BOGO coffee drinks, etc.
Get deals on gift cards
Order your drinks and food items on their app
Participate in cool events using the app

Third, share your opinion on Capterra or G2Crowd.

I first discovered these two sites on Facebook through a Facebook ad!

Reluctantly, I tried it and it worked!
